    Class SteamWireTraceSettings

    Whether the Steam wire trace is recording, and where it writes. The switch lives in the editor session state only — off by default, remembered across a script recompile, gone when the editor restarts — and the file lives under the project's Library folder, never in Assets. The file is not session-scoped: it stays until DeleteTraceFile() removes it.

    Assembly: Serenity.UnitySteam.Infrastructure.Editor.dll
    Syntax
    public sealed class SteamWireTraceSettings
    Remarks

    One instance per Serenity.Global.Infrastructure.Editor.IEditorSessionStateStore: TraceSettingsFor(IEditorSessionStateStore) is the only door, so everything composed over one store shares the switch it persists through. A second instance over the same store would read the switch once and then drift from the first, which is why the constructor is not public.

    Fields

    MaxRecordedBodyLength

    The most response-body characters one trace line keeps.

    Declaration
    public const int MaxRecordedBodyLength = 4096
    Field Value
    Type Description
    int

    Properties

    IsEnabled

    Whether every request the Steam connector sends is being recorded.

    Declaration
    public bool IsEnabled { get; set; }
    Property Value
    Type Description
    bool

    LastWriteFailure

    Why the last trace step (describing a request, or writing its line) failed, or empty. The sync itself is never affected by it.

    Declaration
    public string LastWriteFailure { get; }
    Property Value
    Type Description
    string

    TraceFilePath

    The trace file, beside the rest of Unity's machine-local state.

    Declaration
    public static string TraceFilePath { get; }
    Property Value
    Type Description
    string

    Methods

    DeleteTraceFile()

    Deletes the trace file, the one thing that ever does: the file outlives the editor session and the switch, because it is the evidence a live run leaves behind.

    Declaration
    public bool DeleteTraceFile()
    Returns
    Type Description
    bool

    Whether a file was deleted.

    RevealTraceLocation()

    Shows the trace file in the operating system's file browser, or its folder before one exists.

    Declaration
    public static void RevealTraceLocation()
