    Interface ICompositeViewChild

    One slot inside a composite view (see ICompositeViewDefinition). A child references the view to place in the slot via its ViewDefinition — which may be a menu definition (hosted by id) or an ICompositeViewDefinition (built inline, enabling arbitrary nesting). Size declares how much space the child occupies along its parent container's main axis, and ViewAlignment declares where the hosted view sits within the slot it is given.

    Namespace: Serenity.Ui.Domain.Interfaces
    Assembly: Serenity.Ui.Domain.dll
    Syntax
    public interface ICompositeViewChild

    Properties

    Size

    The main-axis size of this child, expressed in CSS-style units.

    Declaration
    LayoutSize Size { get; }
    Property Value
    Type Description
    LayoutSize

    ViewAlignment

    Where the hosted view is anchored within the slot the layout gives it. A standalone view aligns itself on the canvas via its own alignment, but hosting invalidates that; this per-child value is applied instead so each child can be placed independently inside its cell.

    Declaration
    UiAnchorType ViewAlignment { get; }
    Property Value
    Type Description
    UiAnchorType

    ViewDefinition

    The definition of the view to place in this slot. An ICompositeViewDefinition is built inline as a nested composite; any other view definition (e.g. a menu) is resolved to its already-built instance by Id. A child is identified within its composite by this definition's Id.

    Declaration
    IViewDefinition ViewDefinition { get; }
    Property Value
    Type Description
    IViewDefinition
