    Enum HorizontalOptionWidthMode

    Controls how option columns are sized when a menu's MenuDirection is HORIZONTAL. Has no effect on vertical menus.

    Namespace: Serenity.Menu.Domain.Enums
    Assembly: Serenity.Menu.Domain.dll
    Syntax
    public enum HorizontalOptionWidthMode
    Remarks

    CONTENT is value 0 so existing horizontal menus keep their per-option content sizing. The other modes constrain the row so it fits the available screen width.

    Fields

    Name Description
    CONTENT

    Each option keeps its own natural content width. Columns can be different widths and the row may overflow the screen when the content is wide (e.g. sliders). This is the historical behavior.

    EXPLICIT

    All options use an explicit width in canvas units, taken from IMenuSettingsDefinition.HorizontalOptionWidth.

    FILL

    Every visible option is given an equal share of the available width (availableWidth / VisibleOptionsCount), so the visible columns always fill the width edge to edge.

    UNIFORM

    All options share a single width equal to the widest option's natural width, capped so that VisibleOptionsCount columns fit the available width. Stays compact when content is small and shrinks wide options to fit.
