    Class OnActivateCompositeViewChildSignal

    Dispatched to make a composite view activate one of its children — the mechanism by which a "predominant" navigation rail drives a "non-predominant" content area on the same screen.

    Inheritance
    object
    OnActivateCompositeViewChildSignal
    Namespace: Serenity.Ui.Application.Events
    Assembly: Serenity.Ui.Application.dll
    Syntax
    public class OnActivateCompositeViewChildSignal : EventDispatcherSignal
    Remarks

    Authoring is friction-free: put this signal on a navigation menu option's OnSubmitSignal (the inspector already offers a searchable signal-type picker), fill in the target composite id and child id, and submitting that option swaps the content — no custom code. The composite view subscribes to this signal and ignores any whose CompositeViewId is not its own.
