    Enum FoundationReferenceShape

    How a FoundationReferenceContract's stored value must be interpreted when it is read or rewritten — most references are a plain foreign key, but a few need special handling.

    Namespace: Serenity.Global.Application.References
    Assembly: Serenity.Global.Application.dll
    Syntax
    public enum FoundationReferenceShape

    Fields

    Name Description
    OpaqueArgument

    An opaque string argument that MAY happen to be a Guid, but is not required to be one — never reported as dangling on a miss, rewritten only on an exact match.

    Plain

    An ordinary reference: the whole value names one asset.

    ViewTransitionTarget

    A menu/modal transition target: the literal MenuConstants.Ids.GO_BACK sentinel is never a dangling reference, and a value carrying MenuConstants.COMPOSITE_CHILD_TARGET_SEPARATOR qualifies a composite host and its child view as two ids joined by that separator.
